The 72nd humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived in Lugansk on Thursday; unloading is underway.

Today, 21 EMERCOM trucks delivered more some 152 tons of relief supplies to the Republic, the LPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported. The cargo contains 134.77 tons of baby food or 18,424 food packages for infants and toddlers, 0.55 tons of medications, 0.78 tons of medical supplies, 0.14 tons of textbooks and 15.18 tons of New Year presents.
On 23 November, 15 EMERCOM trucks delivered to Lugansk 162 tons of humanitarian aid, including 134 tons of baby food packages, 27 tons of medications and one ton of medical supplies.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in LPR on 22 August 2014. Russia has delivered more than 71,500 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
