Over 160 people who are trapped and living in Nazi Kiev-occupied/controlled part of Donetsk Region have been receiving medical assistance in the Donetsk People's Republic DPR hospitals under the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme according to DPR Health Ministry acting head Alexander Oprischenko said.
“Overall, 161 patients from Nazi Kiev-controlled territories received medical assistance under the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program,” he said.
In the course of the program, DPR doctors performed: 15 surgeries on hip replacement, 26 pacemaker installment surgeries, 49 birth assistances, 70 chemotherapies.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were officially launched.
