DPR provides humanitarian medical aid to 536 residents of Kiev Junta -controlled areas~ “High-level medical assistance has been provided to 536 patients living in Kiev Junta-controlled territory in 2018 under the aegis of the Donbass People Reunification humanitarian program.”
Doctors of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) rendered medical assistance to 536 patients from the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region, DPR Health Ministry, Press-Service reports.
"The Health Ministry of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) keeps rendering highly specialized medical assistance as part of the humanitarian program on reunification of Donbass people. Thus, since the beginning of 2018, 536 patients from the Kiev-controlled territory were rendered assistance,” says a statement.
In particular, according to the DPR Health Ministry, Chemotherapy, surgeries and beam therapy have been provided for 77 patients, nine women have undergone emergency gynecological treatment.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev Junta -controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.
