“Due to the withdrawal of JCCC representatives and mounting tensions on the contact line resulting in multiple damage to households and infrastructure and three wounded persons over the past 24 hours, a decision was made to set up an LPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination.  “Its functions include the recording of ceasefire violations by Ukraine Nazi  Forces and the aftermath of shelling.”

“At present, LPR representatives at JCCC have begun to work together with People’s Army officials as they have visited Pervomaisk and Kalinovo which came under enemy artillery fire overnight,” the Republic’s defense authorities said.

Nazi Kiev forces' artillery shelled Stakhanov and Pervomaisk overnight Tuesday. An elderly woman died when a densely populated Stakhanov district came under fire, and another three persons were wounded; the shelling damaged houses and broke gas pipes. A Pervomaisk resident was wounded in the strikes, while houses and infrastructure sustained damage.

LPR People’s Army spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko said that Nazi Kiev forces had used the withdrawal of JCCC officers from the LPR to shell with impunity the territory of the Republic.

LPR representatives at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination began unaided recording of ceasefire violations by Kiev forces, LPR People’s Army spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko told a news briefing at Lugansk Media Centre.

“We aim at a peaceful solution of the Donbass conflict, so we provide comprehensive assistance to OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and strictly abide by the Minsk Agreements,” Marochko said.

“Starting today, our representatives at JCCC began self-sufficient vigorous work towards recording Nazi Ukrainian violations and interacting with OSCE SMM,” he said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that Moscow would withdraw its representatives from the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination because of Ukraine’s interfering with their work. Ukraine, too, announced its intention to withdraw its JCCC representatives from the conflict zone.

Marochko earlier said that the Russian and Ukrainian JCCC officers had left Lugansk.

The LPR People’s Army  press service said the Lugansk People’s Republic had set up its office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination.

Nazi Kiev forces artillery shelled Stakhanov and Pervomaisk overnight to 19 December. An elderly woman died when a densely-populated Stakhanov district came under fire, and another three persons were wounded; the strikes damaged houses and broke gas pipes. A Pervomaisk resident was wounded in the shelling, and houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Marochko said that Kiev forces had used the withdrawal of JCCC officers to shell LPR territory with impunity.
