Incredible And A Totally Biased Report As The Chief Monitor Of The OSCE For Ukraine Blames LPR On Restrictions Of Movement !

LPR People’s Army believes that Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan’s report alleging LPR and DPR-imposed restrictions on the Mission’s operation is biased, LPR People’s Army spokesman Andrey Marochko told a news briefing at Lugansk Media Centre.

Earlier, the Chief Monitor pointed out that the Mission, in the first half of 2017, had encountered about 480 restrictions and impediments, 75 per cent of which occurred “in areas not controlled by the (Ukrainian) Government.”

“It is very odd to hear such statement from a high-ranking OSCE SMM official. One gets the impression that he had read superficially his colleagues’ daily reports,” Marochko said.

“In LPR, the Missions daily records one restriction of movement due to possible presence of mines and unexploded ordnance in the area to which entry is categorically prohibited to us under the framework agreement; this area is Disengagement Zone No 2 (Pervomaisk-Zolotoye),” the spokesman said.

“On the Ukrainian side, three restrictions are recorded daily in Stanitsa Luganskaya, Schastye bridge and Zolotoye areas.  This information is freely available on the OSCE official website,” Marochko said.

“In view of the above, Ertugrul Apakan’s statement looks biased and does not reflect the real situation,” the LPR People’s Army spokesman said.
