Workers of DFS together with DPR Emergencies and OSCE monitors departed to the filtration station, however, they were to return bak as a result of the shelling that Kiev started, reports the Head of the DPR office in JCCC.
As it was reported earlier, Kiev military unkits carried out mortar shelling twice at the Yasinovataya direction from temporary Kiev-controlled Avdeevka.
At 10am Kiev hostilities launched mortar of 120mm caliber, and one hour later two more mortars at the territory of the DFS.
On April 17 Ukrainian hostile forces on Tuesday afternoon opened fire cars that carried Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS) personnel wounding five people, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.
'On April 17 at 3:40 p.m. Ukrainian troops started shelling convoy of cars carrying DFS shift workers. Aimed small arms fire was opened from the western side of the road accommodating a line of Ukrainian dug-outs; as a result five DFS personnel sustained wounds of various degree of severity.”
That time the station stopped its work for five days.
