LPR is not planning to adopt compulsory enlistment practice as there are enough volunteers, said LPR head Igor Plotnitskiy.
The participants of the youth forum which took place today in Krasnodon, suggested that conscription should be introduced in the Republic.
"Let's take into the account the current situation. The regulatory acts I signed envisage the mobilization to the armed forces," he said emphasizing that currently there is no compulsory enlistment.
"Since 2014, when the national liberation battalion Zarya was formed, the principle of volunteer enlistment has been used."
Plotnitskiy said he saw no reason to change the practice and introduce conscription. Only contract servicemen are now defending the LPR.
