The People Have Spoken, The Hangman Awaits You Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian People's Tribunal Have Submitted War Crime Files To All The Highest Courts !

LPR activists have passed over 2.5 thousand files on Poroshenko's crimes in Donbass to the ICC and the ECHR, according to the chairwoman of the Ukrainian People’s Tribunal on Poroshenko's regime war crimes in Donbass Elena Shishkina.

"During the time of Kiev's offensive activists registered and passed to the ICC 495 cases concerning adults, 144 cases concerning minors and 41 cases concerning torture and illegal detainment. The ECHR received 1,891 complaints," she said.

"In reality, there are much more cases. The number of crimes is huge. The tribunal cannot physically review all of them. It can take years," she said.

The Initiative Group of Ukrainian citizens living in Donetsk and Lugansk established on March 15 the People’s Tribunal to investigate the Poroshenko's regime war crimes in Donbass. The Tribunal began its work on March 20; its first hearings are scheduled for March 26-27 in Donetsk. The Tribunal shall review cases in accordance with the Ukrainian law with due respect to international standards.

Lawyers Elena Shishkina,  Lyubov Batyashova and Tatyana Kravchenko were appointed presiding judges, Sergey Kozhemyakin was appointed the prosecutor and Elena Gridina was appointed the defense lawyer.

The UPT is to try the crimes of high-ranking officials, including Ukrainian President Petr Poroshenko, national security council secretary Alexander Turchinov, defence minister Stepan Poltorak, the minister of internal affairs Arsen Avakov and Ukrainian armed force commander-in-chief Viktor Muzhenko.
