On November 12, Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rahoy reached Catalonia the ffirst time since it was proclaimed independent.
The Head of the Spanish government arrived to Catalonia to support candidates from the conservative People’s Party who take part in regional elections that will take place on December 21.
Rahoy stated at the rally in Barcelona that he wished to ‘return back democratic and free’ Catalonia. He called for business not to leave this region and called for Spanish people not to taboo Catalonian production.
Earlier it was reported that 750 thousand people supported Catalonian independence at the rally in Barcelona on November 11.
