The centre of social aid and administrative services for the participants of the humanitarian program on the Donbass people reunion was opened today in the Elenovka checkpoint area to the south-west from the DPR capital. It is the first of four such centers to be established in the Republic.

“We opened the center and its prime objective is to unite people, living in Kiev-controlled territory and the DPR citizens, to give them the opportunity to contact their relatives. There are also a lot of socially oriented objectives, aimed at giving the aid one can get in the republic’s territory,” said Yatsenko.

The administrative services center is situated near the checkpoint in the DPR controlled territory. Thus, as it has been planned, citizens of Kiev-controlled territories are to cross the border to employ the center’s services.

“This is the first social services center situated near the DPR checkpoint. It is done to simplify the receiving of the information on payments to Patriotic War veterans for citizens, passing our checkpoint. Further, the number of services provided will be widened,” underlined Tolstykina.
