Republic Of Lugansk Always Helping Those In Need, 80 Residents Including Our WWII War Veterans Living In Nazi Occupied Territories Receive One Time Humanitarian Payments !

More than 80 residents of Nazi Kiev-occupied/controlled part of the Lugansk region received one-time payments as part of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme, the Lugansk People’s Republic’s Ministry of Labour and Social Policy reported.

80 Ukrainian residents get humanitarian program benefits in LPR

Starting February 20, the LPR began to pay lumpsum benefits to certain groups of residents living in Nazi Kiev-controlled Donbass areas, the Ministry said.

“As of the March 13 morning, the number of people from Nazi Kiev-held areas of the Lugansk region who received Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme aid reached 84,” the report said.

Twenty-four World War II veterans and 60 large families have received their benefits at LPR welfare centres.

“Our family learnt about the humanitarian programme” from the Internet, and decided to call a hotline. They listened to us attentively, told us about the documents we had to submit and asked us to come to Lugansk. We’re very grateful. It’s common knowledge large families in Ukraine are experiencing problems. We want to renovate our children’s room with the money we’ve got,” said Nina F., a resident of a Nazi Kiev-controlled area in the Lugansk region.

The groups entitled to humanitarian programme lumpsum payments amounting to 12,000 rubles are WW II veterans and participants in the 1945 fighting with the Imperial Japan. Large families with three or more children under 18 years of age are entitled to 6,000 rubles benefits per family.

In 2017, the LPR Council of Ministers issued a resolution on paying 10,000-ruble Victory Day benefits to war veterans living in the Republic and Nazi Kiev-controlled areas of the Lugansk region.

On February  17, 2017 DPR and LPR Heads launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Nazi Kiev-occupied part of Donbass. The main goal of the programme is to support socially vulnerable groups in Kiev-held areas. It envisions financial and medical aid and education services.

LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry launched the humanitarian programme website.
