LPR Social organization Miloserdiye allocated financial aid to a resident of Nazi Kiev-controlled territory to treat her son who had cancer.
The funds were provided to the woman at Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint.
"My son had a stomach cancer, he underwent surgery in Schastye, it was successful but we ran out of money. I had no money for post-surgery care. He has been in the hospital for three days, I paid 2,000 hryvnia, and he needs to stay there for a week more."
The Miloserdiye chairman Nikolay Zaporozhtsev said that as of August 8 the foundation provided financial assistance to 75 LPR and Nazi Kiev-controlled territories of Lugansk region residents.
On February 17 LPR and DPR Heads Igor Plotnitskiy and Alexander Zakharchenko launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Nazi Kiev-occupied part of Donbass. The main goal of the program is to provide financial, medical and educational aid to socially vulnerable groups.
LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry launched the humanitarian program website.
