We Will Never Abandon Our People And Thanks To Russia We Will Expand Our Humanitarian Aid Program To Those Living On The Nazi Kiev Junta Side !

More than 18,000 residents of Kiev-controlled territory in Lugansk and Donetsk Regions have participated in the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme over a year, acting LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said at a joint briefing with his DPR counterpart Alexander Zakharchenko marking the first anniversary of the programme.

“A year has passed since the start of the humanitarian programme. Its goal is simple: to help our fellow countrymen who live in Kiev-controlled territory. We don’t abandon our people,” Pasechnik said.

“Over the past year, more than 18,000 Donbass residents have taken part in the humanitarian programme, both from Lugansk and Donetsk areas,” he said.

“This means our work is needed. We intend to move beyond our present achievements; taking into account our fellow countrymen’s requests we decided to expand the range of services provided under the aegis of the humanitarian programme,” Pasechnik said.

On February 17 2017 DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Kiev-held part of Donbass.

The main goal of the programme is to support socially vulnerable groups in Kiev-held areas. It envisions financial and medical aid and education services. LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry launched the humanitarian programme website.

“In general, we were not 100 percent ready for the programme; thanks to Russia’s assistance, we replenished our supplies of medications and equipment for magnetic resonance imaging, obstetric aid etc,” Pasechnik said.

“We had specialists trained in Russia to operate this equipment whereupon we were ready to implement the programme,” Pasechnik said.

“Unlike LPR, DPR has car crossing points; it helped us arrange the supply of medications through its territory,” he said.

“We have full cooperation in this area,” Council of Ministers acting chairman Alexander Drobot added.

Earlier on Thursday, Pasechnik said that more than 18,000 residents of Kiev-controlled territory of Lugansk and Donetsk Regions were involved in the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme over a year.
